Evolution of Design

Mankind has come a long way from our early ancestors who carved lines into cave walls. Over time, we evolved to create symbols, develop spoken languages, and use design as a tool to build, communicate, and share ideas. Our canvases changed from rocks to paper, and eventually to computers and computer-aided design software.
But along the way, something changed. We began to lose ourselves in the complexity of learning the tools, which was never the main point. Whether we used sticks, pencils, or a mouse and keyboard, the goal was always to focus on the design itself. Unfortunately, modern software became a tax on our creativity rather than a bonus. It became a barrier. People without access to expensive software were left behind. Those who had great ideas but lacked technical training could not easily communicate with experts. Over time, this broke the creative process.
Now, we have entered the age of AI. Today, you can simply share your idea, and an AI assistant handles the execution. Is this the start of a new creative renaissance, or does it mark the decay of traditional design? Only time will tell. However, it definitely bridges the gap that the software era created.
Let's design responsibly. Let's build a future where human creativity takes center stage again, and our ideas shape tomorrow. Technology should listen and perform for us, rather than making us bend to its rules.
